When navigating through the system you may have come across the INI codes and the reporting tables.
These tables are system wide however, what if we wanted to make them user specific?
This can be done by navigating to your chosen user and selecting the INI codes/Advanced reports tabs respectively.
Let's start with INI codes, if you navigate to the INI codes table you will see a list of restrictions/additions that can be allowed on the FleetWave system as per standard (Such as activating the tyres module or disabling the raise button on the defects screen) However when adding these to the INI code tab of the user it will only create that behaviour for that user.
For example, we can take the LOG:STRICTVIEW INI code and use it only against this user to restrict them to only matching values rather than making it a system wide feature.
The narrative will populate once you save the record so if you're unsure of the requirement, save and then edit accordingly.
The Advanced reports tab works in similar way, here you can setup reports that will latch onto the user themselves and be only accessible by them. This can also be a setting within the normal query table as well when creating a new report.
When creating a report via the queries table or via the advanced report tab of the users table you will be met with the following view:
The important section is the Username which when adding a report via the user will populate with the name of the user that the report was created on.
When creating reports via the queries table this should remain blank to allow ALL users to access that report. However you can restrict this report by inputting a username if you wish.
