Assist a Technician
The reality within workshops is, sometimes a repair needs two pairs of hands. When this time is captured, it gives accurate repair times which can filter through to billing, or in fleets, accurate repair forecasting.
The system enables you to help other technicians active on your shift and record the repair times.

Step by step...
From the home page, select the 'Menu' option:

Select the 'Assist' menu icon:

The app will then show you all the jobs linked to your workshop that have technicians actively working on them:
TECH TIP! - you will not see jobs in this list where no one is clocked on!
Active technician list
Select the technician you need to assist and press 'Start'. This will clock you on the job and start to record your time against the repair. You will also be able to complete other tasks on the job, just like you would normally whilst clocked on a repair:

Once you have finished helping, select the 'Menu' icon:

Select the 'Clock Off Job' menu item:

Complete the timesheet details with what you did to assist and press the 'Save' button. If you need to come back and assist later, you can use the toggle to keep the assist line active for later, or if you have completed assisting on the repair, you can flag as completed.
TECH TIP! - you will not be able to unassign an assist line - you need to complete it if you have finished in order to remove it from your work assigned list.
