Links to External Sites
There are times technicians need to be able to view information from sources outside of the mobile app, for example parts catalogues, wiring diagrams or diagnostic and service information.
The mobile app has a really cool feature that enables businesses to add external links to the additional menu option and then open them within the app. This 'in app' view can also be 'popped out' to enable switching between the app and a browser.
These links are configurable through FleetWave and are set up by a System Administrator.

Step by step...
From the job screen, select the 'Menu' option:

Select the external menu item from the additional menu items page:

The app will open the external link in an 'in app' browser. You can navigate as you would normally directly through the app. Once you have finished, press 'Done' and you are returned to the additional menu items page. If you want to open the browser outside of the app, select the device's option to 'pop out' and the window will open outside the app, allowing you to switch between the two (pretty useful if you want to check your vehicles details!):
